I was very excited to have new furniture and see if it really did live up to expectations – it did. The chairs are well designed, make children sit correctly and the results are - neater handwriting, better concentration and no tipping over as the chairs can’t easily “rock”.
My room opted for the tote tray and flat top table which means, when pushed together they form a really smooth single unit, good for working with large sheets of paper.
Tote trays are not overly large which means students have to keep them “rubbish” free and they only have access when necessary.
Having the correct size (height) surface and matching chair has meant the smaller students are comfortable and sitting correctly. The number of 24 red dot desks and 6 yellow dot ones has always been correct, even when other classes (of the same age /year level) use this room.
I have been delighted with the results, not only do they look good, they work.
