"Tauhara College has adopted the Bodyfurn chairs and Alpha desks in a particular colour combination as its standard template for classroom furniture, because of the enhanced teaching and learning effects as well as the ergonomic benefits.
We want only the best in our newly refurbished classrooms. The design of the furniture fits well in to our concept of an appropriate 21st Century learning environment. It has been really well received by our staff and students. There is great ownership of it.
Staff members request the appropriate cleaning fluid when it runs out; the students look after their environment and appreciate having only the best. I do many tours with parents and visitors to show them the learning environment we are moving to throughout our school and the students are always very keen to describe the benefits of the furniture to our visitors.
They appreciate the extra size of the alpha desks and their practical and comfortable design. The chairs they relate to because they are comfortable and the design and technology is of their world.
