The knowledge of students is overwhelming with the internet providing them with real time learning experiences from a global classroom.

I have witnessed the power of using schools as a knowledge base for our learning, our testing, and questioning through student feedback what we need to deliver to improve their comfort and ability to achieve. The goal being to develop the best physical place to spend the 15000 -19000 hours we attend school in a lifetime!

We have utilised this expertise in realising one of Furnware’s objectives of becoming a significant exporter of school furniture and contributor to school environments internationally. Furnware is delivering Bodyfurn® classroom furniture to schools in Hong Kong, Australia, throughout the Middle East and to the UK.

This year Furnware and Waikato University measured the improvement in learning behaviour in middle schools and the incredible reduction to off task distractions our ergonomic school furniture Bodyfurn® delivered to schools.  All teachers involved communicated how we have changed their classrooms for the better.

We are committed to environmental sustainability with both our company and the products we produce. Cradle to cradle is our goal for all products and the Bodyfurn® products are close to gaining an Environmental Choice certification.
