Showcasing innovation and enterprise at your school

With the continuous development of education-sector resources available to schools, it can be hard to stay ahead of the curve and remain true to your pedagogical goals. In this edition of Schools Purchasing we’ve chosen to highlight an example of a concept introduced at Windsor School in Christchurch, which incorporates the use of custom-designed learning spaces to create specific zones for students with different styles of learning.

Innovation: ‘Kotahitanga’ – A right place for everyone and for everyone a right place

Windsor School in Christchurch has worked with Furnware to create our ‘kotahitanga’ concept for classroom learning. A right place for everyone and for everyone a right place! Twenty-three classrooms in the school now have custom-designed learning stations that encourage collaborative, critical and independent thinking and learning. The opportunity to work with a company that was responsive to the learning needs of our school and our learning culture enabled us to create an environment that enhances outcomes and affirms our motto ‘learning together with PRIDE’.
